Lecturing position at SIA

The Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary seeks to appoint a lecturer / senior lecturer in the fields of Energy, International Commercial Transactions Law, and Arbitration. The successful candidate will be required to undertake scholarly research leading to publications of the highest ranking for the purposes of the Research Excellence Framework; teach in the areas of international arbitration and energy law; undertake a leading role in the development of new modules and programmes; and carry out administrative tasks as assigned by the Director of CCLS. He/she will be expected to demonstrate a strong academic background in the fields of Energy, International Commercial Transactions Law, and Arbitration and the ability to teach a range of subjects in those areas.

The post is full time and permanent. Starting salary will be in the range of £37,819 to £47,088 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit salary pension scheme, and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
