Portuguese SIA Alumni launch online arbitration review
In January 2011, a number of Portuguese SIA alumni released the first edition of their quarterly online arbitration review.
YAR – Young Arbitration Review is the new quarterly online publication dedicated to international arbitration matters and trends as seen through the eyes of young practitioners and lawyers with expertise and interest in international arbitration. This publication is launched by Pedro Sousa Uva and Gonçalo Malheiro, lawyers in Portugal, both specialized in litigation and arbitration and former LL.M. students at the School of International Arbitration at Queen Mary University of London.
It is the first on-line international arbitration review created and edited in Portugal which is written in English by Lawyers from several jurisdictions and distributed worldwide.
With the launch of YAR -Young Arbitration Review, its creators aim at contributing to the development of arbitration as an alternative method for dispute resolution by offering a unique tool for informed and aware players to deepen their knowledge of arbitration in an international perspective.
